Still, we’re not always perfectly organised, and this time was a case in point of our magnificient disorganisation. We basically had no idea of where we would be going for dinner, so we started off with a small apéro at Eglantine’s adorable appartment (under the famous parisian roofs!). It was more of a gossiping gathering than actual drinking. Which was totally fine by us.
It soon became obvious how bad we needed to find a restaurant.
We wound up in a Hongkongese canteen called .
The place is located on 20, rue des Martyrs in the 9e and specialises in Dim Sums.

We are big fans of their colourful, vintage and yet modern dishware and menus.
We ordered a bunch of steemed dim sums and a black mushroom coriander salad. Every dumpling was the perfect mouthful bite and the four of us ate till near explosion.

After hours of feasting and gossiping, we were the last customers standing. Yes, we finished our dinner with some desserts, of course. No pictures of those, we ate them too fast.
We thought it wise to call it a meal and continued our chat outside.
I don’t know about Eglantine, but we sure enjoyed the Birthday celebrations, Hong Kong style!
