is a love story between art and food. Aurore’s love story, to be exact. The cantine /slash/ gallery art is her way of dealing with her passion for art while nourishing body & soul. Aurore decided to pay tribute to her family’s story by naming the place after her grand-uncles John & Rose.
The place is spacious yet warm and cosy, furnished with wood, leathers and taste. The gallery rotates the exhibitions monthly. You can read the press, enjoy your company and take in all the beauty. The brunch is fantastic. For only 15€, you get a beverage of your choice, an excellent croissant, breads and spreads, cottage cheese with grains, eggs (scrambled or à la coque) and smoked salmon. I call that a fair deal!
You’d better book a table, cause it gets busy during the weekend. Golden address in the Sainte Catherine area. I L O V E D I T!
