Last week, I went to the opening of the Store & Café. I’ve known Bodum teapots since I can remember. My step mum would make delicious tea and infusions and my dad used the Bodum Coffee Maker. Their design always appealed to me. Such simple and beautiful objects.
But Bodum is so much more than a pretty teapot! They specialise in all kinds of kitchen- and tableware, with a focus on tea and coffee. Their coffee machines are of excellent quality and gorgeous, too. I love their double wall glasses for hot or cold drinks. So much so that I couldn’t resist the temptation and went home with a new teapot, new glasses, boilers and even a food processor to make delicious veggie meals with it.
Another perk of the Brussels store? The French Press Café. You can go for breakfast, lunch or tea. I’m planning of trying their lunch very soon. At the opening, their chef made us try all sorts of appetizers and smorrebrod. And we washed them down with grapefruit-champagne cocktails. A great evening.
