COCO Donuts-TBS-6

If you have a sweet tooth like me, you need to try the donuts by the lovely girls of . Candice and Chloé embarked on this adventure only months ago and their round creations have already been featured in Elle, Le Soir and Bel RTL… I ordered a discovery box of 6 and now I know what the fuss is all about: they’re really super nice. Nothing like those supermarket scams!

Chloé and Candice use organic and/or local ingredients and get up super early to bake them every morning. Soon you’ll be able to get your C O C O Donuts at their very own Pop-up store in Sablon. But for now, you can send in your orders via the website. Then you can pick up your treats the next day at their Parvis Saint-Pierre workshop or at (Bourse). If you live within a 5km radio from Uccle, they also offer a 2,5 € delivery service, super convenient.

Check the flavours on their website -3,5 € each or 20€ for a discovery box of 6 and 30€ for one of 9. I tried the rose, wild berries, chocolate-coconut, oreo, salted caramel and apple-cinnamon. I personally love rose so I’d definitely recommend that one because it’s soft and delicate. The wild berries one really tastes of berries and the apple-cinnamon is more a “berliner” than a donut but it’s lovely. The chocolate-coconut and the oreo ones are totally decadent, to no one’s surprise.

If I had two small suggestions to make, it would be : firstly, that I find 3,5 € a tad pricey for a donut (even handmade). In the UK, a box of assorted Krispy Kreme donuts (my favs) costs about 14€ -so a bit over a euro / piece. Sure, C O C O Donuts are made with only 2 sets of hands using top notch ingredients but you see my point… And secondly, I’m missing a “glazed” original donut. Would order a dozen immediately!

So there you go sprouters, I hope the pics convey just how delicious these babies are and that you’ll be trying some soon!
