If you’re anything like me, whose grocery basket always ends up half full of avocados and if you just can’t get enough of the green superfruit, you’ll be happy to know the Avocado Show is opening in Brussels come end November.

Launched last year in Amsterdam as a top foodie mono restaurant dedicated to all things avocado, the place has received so much love that it’s now coming to its southern cousin city and more precisely, to Anspach Avenue.

Forget the boring avocado toast. That’s so déjà vu. If people are queuing outside the joint it’s for their visually stunning, super creative and incredibly tasty signature dishes. Think stacks of avo pancakes, eggs Benedict on avocado bien sûr, burgers served with avocado halves instead of buns, etc. Chef Jaimie van Heije, a friend of entrepreneurs and co-founders Ron Simpson and Julien Zaal really seems to have an endless mind when it comes to the antioxydant-rich fruit. All the dishes are made using sustainable avocados, picked, packed and transported socially responsibly from different markets and countries around the world, like Chile, Peru, South Africa and beyond.

If you’re one to do things all the way or not at all, you can pair your meals with avocado-based cocktails and smoothies. An avo Daiquiri, perhaps? Or a Guaca Mary? And don’t worry if your partner in crime isn’t that much of an avocado fan, the menu boasts other mouthwatering snacks to satisfy all palates.

Whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner, the restaurant promises to serve diners a spectacular show on their plate. Perfect for instafood addicts and voracious monsters alike. Definitely, a new hit on Brussels’ culinary scene.
