For those who, like us, know lilicup and are therefore doomed to be its eternal groupies, you can skip the post and use the time to go for a cupcake.

For those who don’t know it (yet), you’re welcome. As soon as you enter the shop, you will feel like a child again, drooling as you look at their counter filled with marvellous cupcakes. Then you’ll be faced with the very difficult choice of picking the one that will match your mood. We find Lilicup is the best way to enjoy your treat, served with whimsical coffees and teas. Their china will make you feel just like Alice in wonderland.

There’s nothing like a nutella-filled Cheyenne to cheer you up (Sara’s fav’). Or a Geisha (my personal fav’) to delight you with its fairy rose, raspberry and lychee flavour. Once you tried them, you’ll find yourself looking for excuses to pass by their lovely Chatelain parlour and pick up a dozen. Or two.

I liked them so much that I ordered hundreds of them for my wedding! Sara and I consider ourselves Lilicup’s biggest groupies ever and have always participated in their facebook contests. No luck so far! But when it comes to sweet treats, our faith is made of steel. We keep hoping one day we’ll get our own free box o’lilicupcakes. Although in the meantime, I have to say, they’re worth every penny.
