I happen to love falafel. But it’s hard to find a good one. A lot of them tend to be somewhat dry and even tasteless.
I was therefore delighted to discover , a pakistani little place in the Parvis de Saint-Gilles that serves incredible falafel in home-made pitta bread. The chickpea delis are soft in the inside and crunchy on the outside. Per. Fect.
You can savour them with tahini, hummus or babaganoush. Everything freshly made by Ali right under your eyes. So are the pakoras, a sort of Indian version of the Japanese tempura veggies.
A little gem in Saint-Gilles, and my very fave falafel in Brussels.
A must-eat. Also, with this awful weather, what better than healthy comfort food?
