Last couple of weeks have been kind of crazy, with tons of great discoveries, events and meeting incredible people. Not exactly what you call relaxing, though. That’s why I remember my afternoon at Deep Nature Spa all the more fondly… it was a pause in the craze & the fuss. A glorious break on a Friday afternoon.
The Brussels Deep Nature Spa is located in the Up Site Tower, the highest building in the city’s landscape, right by the canal. They have a partnership with Cinq Mondes, so you’ll find many of the line’s products used during treatments and you’ll even spritz yourself with a Cinq Mondes rain mist while enjoying the wellness area.
I had my massage appointment at 4.30, so I spent a couple of hours chilling in the beautiful spa. Lucky me, I was all by myself. I used the sensory showers, the hammam, the Finnish sauna, the pool and the jacuzzi.
Oh…the jacuzzi…my favorite spot in the whole spa. I was looking out of the huge bay window onto the busy canal. Just as the fireplace is all the better when it’s cold outside, watching the industrial landscape made me appreciate the warmth of the jacuzzi even more. Seeing the cranes work while bubbles giggled me up was so delicious.
Then Sanah came looking for me…it was time for the “Traditional Oriental Relaxing Massage”. It was strong, with big slow moves and deep reaching. I was in Spa Heaven. Afterwards, she took time to give me some advice and I left the spa soft as silk, zen as a yogi. I am definetely coming back soon, maybe with a friend, to enjoy a massage for two. And so should you my friend.
