Most of you know by now. The young yet already epic “Lieu de Vie” of the Flagey square. Their daily lunches, their pay-per-gram brunch, their super cool interiors… But did you know they just launched a new concept to add to its multifaceted vibrant life? That’s right, Epaulé Jeté now becomes a “Lieu de Jazz” once a week. What to expect? Jazz concerts, duh! And food platters to share from the Live Food Bar. I went with my friend Marly last week and although the specific concert we saw wasn’t really our favorite type of jazz (free impro), we enjoyed the concept a lot and found the food to be quite nice actually! This weekend is the Brussels Jazz Marathon so you can pass by and enjoy the Bram Weeijters Quartet on Friday or the Laurens Smet Trio on Saturday. Oh, and order a Hugo cocktail, I loved every sip!
